The Franklin-McKinley School District believes a safe and disciplined learning environment is the first requirement of a high performing school. School uniforms will help minimize disruptive behavior, promote respect for oneself and others, build school/community spirit, and, more significantly, help to maintain high academic standards.
School uniforms are worn at Hellyer School to create an environment that focuses on school work by the individual and not on individual attire. In order for all students to be ready for the first day of school, we have revised the uniform policy for the 2019-2020 school year. Please read and understand. Uniforms are required on all school days, with the exception of designated Spirit Days and on designated free dress days.
