The Hellyer folder is intended for communication with student’s homes. The envelope is usually sent home each Monday. Families are to return the folder by Friday. Included in the envelope would be such items as parent notices, field trip permission slips, weekly homework assignments, and any other items you feel parents/families need to know. By standardizing the notifications going home, families are alerted that each week, on the same day of that week, they are to look for/ask their child for their Hellyer folder.
