Hello Hellyer Families,

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year at Hellyer! I hope you and your family have enjoyed the summer and found time to relax together. We look forward to a new school year of learning together with you and your children. Thank you so much for choosing Hellyer Elementary to support your children in becoming self-directed learners, collaborative workers, and community-minded individuals. Our skilled staff is hard at work preparing the classrooms and school campus for your child(ren) to return on August 14th. They are eager to meet our students and welcome them back to a new school year.

Class Lists

Class lists will be posted in the front office on Monday, August 7th.

ParentSquare - School and District Communication Platform  

We will continue using ParentSquare as our school/district communication platform. If you are a returning family, you should be familiar with ParentSquare and already signed up. If you are new to our school, you will need to sign up for “ParentSquare” at www.parentsquare.com or download the app on your phone.

Parent Coffee and Donut Social - August 14th

Please join me at 8:45 am in front of the cafeteria for a cup of coffee and a donut. This is an opportunity to welcome our families to a new school year and for you to catch up with families you may not have seen during the summer.

First Day of School - August 14th

Families, please note the first week of school is early release. The release time for grades K-6 is at 1:30 pm and the release time for TK is 12:30 pm.

Families, please be aware that the first day of school will be filled with families dropping off students. If you are planning to walk your child to their classroom, we ask that you please use the Family Life Christian Church parking lot at 801 Hellyer Ave.
