Greetings Hellyer Families,

 Hellyer is hosting our 1st Annual Hellyer Latino America Independence Day Celebration on September 16th. This event is to celebrate Latin America's heritage, colonization, and cultural diversity and its fight for independence. 

Our Latino Literacy parent group and staff hope the event will unite all Spanish-speaking families and cultures in celebration through Mexican folklore dance, traditional foods, and fun free games for all to participate. The event is from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm on September 16th.

We are asking for donations of water, soda, and bags of candy/small toys for this event. If you'd like to donate, please drop off the donation in the front office by Wednesday, September 14th.

We are looking forward to celebrating with you on September 16th.
