Ice Cream Social & School Improvement Fundraiser

Mini Fundraiser is happening now. At 5:30 on the 25th, we (or rather our highest donating classroom/top student) will be cutting Dr. Franks' hair, (each $100 = 1/2 inch of hair, up to one foot, after that... bangs, tips or head get dyed blue. ) We are hoping to raise money mini school improvement possibilities are: A new marquee, library chairs, improved sound system in cafeteria.

Book Fair

Dates: April 24-28
Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that provides the books kids want to read. It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level.
Reading for pleasure inside and outside of school has real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Please make plans to come to our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child's reading habits.

CAASP Awards

Congratulations to our students with a PERFECT score on the 2016 CAASP. Our Special awards ceremony was February 28th for students who received a perfect score in Language Arts, Mathematics or Science. (That's the green trophy. ) Amazing work! Especially for our students who received the award 2 years in a row!!!

Kindergarten Round Up!

Kindergarten Round up - February 4th! If you have a child, family member, neighbor who is or will be turning 5 before Sept 1st. ( TK- Sept 2-Jan 31st) Please come to our round up day! Parents who sign up that day get a free backpack with school supplies for their child. Coffee with the Principal (Cafecitos)

In response to the parent survey, we are holding an evening Coffee with the Principal (Cafecitos) on Thursday, October 27 at 5:45 p.m. in the library. There will be translation available for both Spanish and Vietnamese parents and we will be sharing information on upcoming events as well as answering any questions and listening to input from parents and the community.
